Why 24-bit matters
Older 16-bit amplifiers often struggle with the dynamic range required to accurately capture both microvolt EEG signals and millivolt DC shifts without clipping. For modern Slow Cortical Potential (SCP) training, 24-bit resolution with true DC coupling is strongly recommended.
